Continuing Medical Education Credits

This live activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Emory School of Medicine and Sisters by Choice. The Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend begins with an intimate celebration of Sisters by Choice breast cancer survivors and those who have lost the battle. Our dedication to remain united as we continue the fight against breast cancer starts with our survivors and is extended to the families that need our support. This is exclusive event is held the 3 days before the Weekend Symposium.

Memorial Golf classic

The Donald A.  Perry Memorial Golf Classic, open the public, held at the luxurious Heron Bay, features a 4-on-4 play tournament the Friday before the Weekend Symposium. The Tournament attracts beginner and seasoned golfers throughout the Southeast region. The winners are presented with gold trophies and celebrated with an award luncheon immediately following the tournament.

The Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend ends in a two-day  educational symposium held Friday & Saturday the first weekend of October. Our panelists includes world renowned local and national breast cancer specialists explaining the latest diagnosis, treatment, and cutting-edge research. The event is open to survivors, women and men at risk, health care providers and the public.
