We celebrate the women and men who have survived breast cancer and strengthen those who have lost family member in the battle.

Memorial Golf Classic

Named in honor of a distinguished, founding board member and former VP of Corporate PR for Chick-fil-A, who died in 2012.

This event is in partnership with Emory School of Medicine providing CME credit for physicians.

Survivors Celebration

The Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend begins with a private celebration for members of Sisters by Choice Support Groups. Our dedication remains united as we continue to fight against breast cancer. This exclusive event is the kick-off for our 3-day Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend.

Donald A. Perry Memorial Golf Classic

The Donald A. Perry Memorial Golf Classic is open to the public and will be held at the Heritage Golf Links located in Tucker GA. It will feature a 4-person best ball tournament on Monday October 16, 2023, on-site registration 7:30 am – 8:45 am, shotgun starts 9:00 am. Early registration deadline Monday, September 25, 2023. The Tournament attracts beginners and seasoned golfers throughout the Southeast region. The winners are presented with prizes and trophies and celebrated with an award luncheon immediately after the tournament.

 

The Donald A. Perry Memorial Golf Classic is one of our annual signature fundraising events to support the Sisters By Choice Mobile Breast Clinic. The mobile clinic helps underserved women with early detection thus increasing the survival rate and enhancing their ability to beat breast cancer.

Virtual Breast Cancer Symposium

The Breast Cancer Awareness Weekend ends with an Educational Seminar on Saturday October 7th at 9:30 am EST. Our speakers are world renowned local and national breast cancer specialists presenting the latest diagnosis, treatment, and cutting-edge research. The event is open to survivors, family and friends, community leaders, health care providers and the public. This event is FREE.  This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of Emory University School of Medicine and Sisters By Choice. The Emory University School of Medicine is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Emory University School of Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 4.75 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

Emory Nursing Professional Development Center (ENPDC) is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  Attendees to this CNE activity will be awarded contact hours by ENPDC.  

Approved by the ASRT for Category A continuing education credit.
